CNY-AGEP REU

The Central New York - Puerto Rico Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) offers and REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates), giving undergraduates the opportunity to join research projects for the summer. This allows students to experience first-hand how basic research is carried out, and to contribute consequentially.

AGEP History:

AGEP is a National Science Foundation Project intended  to significantly increase the number of domestic students receiving doctoral degrees in the sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), with special emphasis on those population groups underrepresented in these fields.  AGEP develops and implements innovative models for recruiting, mentoring and retaining minority students in STEM disciplines along with developing effective strategies for identifying and supporting underrepresented minorities who want to pursue academic careers.
